rhys' first hike!
Last weekend Cate and I went on our first hike of the season. Not feeling too adventurous and also not sure how I would feel being 6 months pregnant and trekking up a Mtn Cate picked Black Mtn. for it's ease and moderate distance (5.6 miles) which is on the east side of Lake George in the southern Adirondacks. Having worked and lived up there after college she is very familiar with the area and is a great resource for knowing the difficulty of many of the trails. Go Cate, you rock!! I felt really good and don't think that I embarrassed myself too much! :D Yay! I took a few more breaks than normal towards the top when it got a little steep, but all in all I was very happy that I didn't slow Cate down too much. I took just a few pictures to document Rhys' first hike!

Look at that belly!!! Michelle commented that its gotta be a boy cause its all out front. :) We're just wishing we could share a little more in Rhys's pre-birth phase.
