It's a BOY!!!!

Yesterday at my 20 week ultrasound we found out that we're having a little boy!!! Words can't describe how ecstatic we are! Most importantly they did all kinds of measurements of his organs and limbs and everything looked great! Also, all of the testing I had done at my last appointment came back negative,which is very good news as well. Things are good, really good.

He was sleeping at first which was helpful to get all the pix and measurements the sonographer needed, but when it came time for him to show his or her "stuff"we had to shake him awake. Once he started moving a little I put headphones on my belly and blasted some Tom Petty his way to really wake him up. Well it worked, and here's the proof. There was no denying it!!! (Ryan is going to kill me for posting this picture on here :D)

The one above is a little frightening, but it was used to measure lots of important things. The black spots in the stomach area are the organs.

So now the fun begins, we can start shopping and getting the nursery ready! Last night I tossed and turned all night long not being able to stop my mind from racing. Ryan asked this morning what I was thinking about all night (assuming I was thinking about everything we need to do between now and August) and I said " Oh nothing really, I was just planning his future." Don't worry I won't be putting that kind of pressure on him this early :D, but there are a lot of things I can let my mind drift off to now.
