'Tis the season for family and friends

Well we've officially recovered from a busy but wonderful trip to Georgia for Christmas. This past weekend we did nothing but hang around the house, start some baby-proofing, and I even packed up a few boxes (May will be here sooner than later!). With cold temps and 7 inches of snow from New years Eve it was a nice weekend to stay in and relax. Ryan didn't have school work to do so we actually got to hang out as a family for the first time in a long long time.

Rhys was a big hit with all our family and friends in GA. He was so happy (most of the time) and charmed the socks off his grandma for sure! (Not that I had any doubt...) The poor child had so many photos taken of him that now all you have to do is snap your fingers over the camera and he instantly lights up. I doubt this phenomenon will last very long, but we plan on taking full advantage of it while we can! At one point I realized what Suri Cruise must go through every day, he had something like 6 cameras or camcorders pointing at him at the same time!

Here are just the highlights of the 200 pictures or so that we took:

Hello paparazzi!!

Special time with grandma!

We celebrated Christmas with Nana, Papa (my dad), Keith, and Holly on Christmas Eve. The paparazzi were out in full force! I've recently realized that I'm turning into my dad, always trying to get the perfect picture. Jeeze....

I love this photo of Rhys with his Papa! Whose cuter???? Ok, Rhys you win...but it was a close race.

Friends...

No adult can make a baby laugh like a kid can. Jensen and Linden were such little mommies to Rhys, it was so cute.

My little ladies man.

Niki, EB, and I with our little ones. EB was such a trooper to let us visit on the day she was leaving town, not to mention the fact that she was certainly exhausted, having a 3 week old and all. As you can see, my child is the only unhappy one in this photo!

Christmas Day Rhys woke up with a nasty eye infection. My poor baby looked so pitiful. And unfortunatley we'll never be able to forget about it, b/c every picture from Christmas Day looks looks like he got into a boxing match with another infant and lost (which we know would never happen...he would totally be the one laying the smack down! Hahaha)

The Brinks stopped by on Christmas on their way out of town. Denise is showing Jensen how to play harp.

I love my grandma!
