Cape Cod

I know... I know I have no excuse for not posting these earlier. Better late than never, right?

We went to Cape Cod in Oct. for the Cape Cod Marathon, which as most everyone already knows KICKED MY BEHIND! On the plus side, the course was beautiful, the weather was glorious, and I had a team of supporters cheering me along the way! Our friends Nikki and Dan came along with us loaded up with awesome signs, which definitely put a smile on my face (and believe me I wasn't smiling other than that).

"I LOVE KEN", wait a minute buster, who is KEN???? LOL!
I know it's cheesy, you don't have to tell me.
They're sick and twisted!! But at least it's a picture of Dan smiling! He never does that in pictures.

Dan and Nikki (Dan's normal 'smile')

I don't get it and I don't remember ever getting it. They're so silly!
I'm not sure that either of these pictures make us seem very....well...intelligent.
I believe I instigated this 'game' of let's see how far you can throw a boulder! Yes I admit it! Below is Ryan celebrating a very manly attempt.
On Sat (the day before the race) we went to Chatham, the elbow of the Cape, and walked along a couple of beaches taking loads of pictures and enjoying the fog that created a mysterious mood along the shore.

Taken right after the race, before leaving for home

We loved the Cape and look forward to going back this summer! As for the race, I will come back and get revenge on this hilly race course. It will be mine, oh yes..it will be mine.
