fall...the loveliest season of all

Hi everyone!!! Sooooooooooo sorry for taking so long to post these pictures of a glorious fall in the northeast. We've been quite busy of late, I know I know...still no excuse. We are really looking forward to the holidays so we can have some much needed family/friend time, and especially looking forward to the end of the semester for Ryan, this one has been rough! In just a few short weeks he will be half way done Law School!

These first few pix are from a day we went down to the Catskills and met Keith and Holly for brunch in Woodstock and then took a little train ride through the fall foliage.

Last fall we had a wonderful time apple picking and were so looking forward to it again this year. In mid Oct we picked a bushel of fuji and some other kind of apple (which the name has escaped me for the moment) and have been eating them ever since. If an apple a day really does keep the doctor away Ryan and I should be healthy into retirement! A month and a half later we still have apples!!! Gosh I love the fall!

One afternoon Ryan, Zoe, and I drove over to Manchester, VT when the leaves were at their peak there. We walked around the town to do some window shopping, which Manchester being a ski resort town there was plenty of, and enjoyed the crisp cool fall air. On the way home we took a detour and stopped at a state park, which was where these pix were taken.

Cape Cod pix coming soon! I promise!
