I was so excited to have a short visit from Dad, Beverly, and of course Tyler almost two weeks ago now. (I know I've been a slacker!) I was able to take 2 half days from work so that one day we could go up to Lake George for a boat ride (that made #2 for the season). We were lucky to have a great day with temps in the low 70's, and a mild breeze. It was such a lovely day; Tyler was on his very best behavior, Beverly was able to keep from getting motion sick, dad was able to take gobs of pictures, and best of all I was able to be around family! That is something that neither Ryan nor I take for granted now. Unfortunatley Ryan was unable to go to the lake with us, it being early in his summer internship, so that night we all went to dinner at Brown's Brewery in Troy, sat on the deck overlooking the Hudson, and had a nice relaxing dinner.
Tyler and Zoe were in 7th heaven enjoying each others company, and Tyler made it his mission to befriend the skeptical cats (a battle that he never really had a chance to win). Zoe was noticably sad after Tyler left, and from what I hear Tyler missed her just as much.
Dad, seriously, you need to get the poor boy an animal!!
